DENVER -- Are you still shopping?

I went to the mall the other day to meet a friend for dinner and I realized I haven't been shopping for anything but groceries, books and the basics in awhile.

But there are two shopping Web sites I look at every day, Woot.com and SteepAndCheap.com.

Woot.com is an online store selling cool stuff cheap, mainly electronics. They sell one item a day until it's sold out or until it's replaced the next day. They don't have people answering the phone, so they say if you have questions about a product, Google it.

How good are the deals? Well, visit the Web site and decide for yourself. Last week they sold out quickly for a refurbished Apple 8GB 2nd Generation iPod Touch for $169.99 + $5 shipping.

SteepAndCheap.com sells one item at a time, but when they sell out of an item, they replace it. That means you have to check back throughout the day.

Like any sale, you have to make sure it's a good deal for you. Ski pants that originally sold for $175, were on sale for $50, but it's not a good deal when I can find the same pants for $30.

But I saw a pair of trail runners for $35. I Googled the shoes and found REI selling them in "exclusive red color" for $105. I bought the green ones on SteepAndCheap and felt like I got an incredible deal.
