DENVER -- We've talked about free food, free magazines, how about a free movie?

Redbox, the folks who have movie rental boxes in McDonald's, Albertson's, Wal-mart and other locations, is offering two different ways to get free movie rentals.

On Wednesdays in March, visit the redbox blog for a free movie code. The code is only good on Wednesday, but why not take a break on hump day and rent a movie.

You can also get free movies on Mondays. Just sign up for the Redbox SMS network. Then redbox will send a code to your cell phone every Monday to give you a free rental.

If you don't get text messages on your phone, you can sign up for the mailing list and get one free rental.

Have you ever rented movies from Redbox? Redbox lets you pick up your movies from any redbox location and return them another redbox location. They charge $1 a night per movie (in most locations). You keep the movie as long as you want, but they charge $1 a night. Learn more at: How it works.
