Cleveland, OH -- Cleveland Indians pitcher C.C. Sabathia warmed up, but missed his scheduled start against Kansas City on Thursday after reporting soreness in his left shoulder.Sabathia, whose start was pushed back a day when Wednesday's game was cancelled because of rain, is 1-0 this season with a 1.71 ERA in three starts. He was 13-9 with a 3.60 ERA in 30 games last year. Jeff D'Amico, not slated to pitch until Sunday in Detroit, made the emergency start for Sabathia. He yielded two runs in 5 1/3 innings, but didn't figure in the decision. Cleveland won the game 5-4 after a three-run rally in the eighth inning.
