DENVER -- It's National Burger Day and to celebrate, several burger joints are going all out across this great land we call the United States of America.

If you're looking for a great burger place to try out in Denver today, we give you the following options:

1. Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery Colfax - 4990 E. Colfax Ave.

Chop Shop's main focus is "to bring the freshest ingredients, highest standards, innovative techniques, and combine them with just enough service to make you comfortable and content."

Yelp rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars

2. City Grille - 321 E. Colfax Ave.

It bills itself as "Denver's best burger," and we haven't tried that many places to disagree (so far!). They offer several options for your hungry appetite including turkey, salmon and even some exotic options like an elk burger.

Yelp rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

3. The 49th - 4550 S. Kipling St.

"Probably one of the best burger (joints) in Denver. Everything was so fresh and the staff was super friendly, which is awesome," said one customer.

4. Hopdoddy Burger Bar - 1747 Wynkoop St.

5. The Cherry Cricket - 2641 E. 2nd Ave.

One of Denver's iconic eateries, the Cherry Cricket recently reopened after a fire forced it to close several months. Why do people love the burgers here? There's so much you can add to it, you can basically create your own burger.

Have a big appetite and want to challenge yourself to eat one of Crave's gigantic burgers? Then this is the place you should head to today. There are 20 options to choose from!
