DENVER – If you’ve ever hung out at Commons Park in LoDo and looked southeast, you’ve probably noticed nearly a dozen cranes rising from the ground, each competing to see which will reach the heavens first.

If you’re like us, you’ve also probably wondered what new development those cranes are bringing to Denver: “Is it a new apartment complex? Will it have a gym? Can I live there with my dog? Will it be pot-friendly?”

Luckily for us – and you – the people over at the Denver Business Journal have come up with a nifty little tool to help us keep track of what’s rising over the Denver skyline.

It’s called the Denver Crane Watch.

The interactive map allows you to zoom in around the City of Denver to find out what’s being built near your area. It could be an apartment complex, an industrial building, new offices, and even a hotel or a store unit.

If you click on any of the pinned locations, you can get more information about the place: A description of what’s being built, who the developer is, how much it costs, the status of the project and when it’s expected to be completed.
