SUV full of reptiles stolen in Englewood

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - An Arizona man known as 'Wildman Phil' was in Colorado tonight for a reptile convention.

When he came out from an Englewood Walmart, his Chevrolet Suburban was gone.

A prized tortoise named "Stumpy" is missing his front leg and uses a wheel to get around.

Also inside the SUV: a 13-foot-long python, four other snakes, a snapping turtle, three tarantulas and a lizard.

"My plea is if there is some way you can return the animals, great, I don't car about the car, the computer or any of the other stuff that's in there, but it's my animals. We're like family," he told 7NEWS.
