Avast, me hearties! 'Tis Talk Like a Pirate Day! Yo ho ho and a bag of kibble and all that jazz.
OK, enough of that, ye scurvy dogs, because I have big news. HUGE!
Big Bird size. Hint, hint.
Did you get it? I’m talking about the one-and-only Sesame Street, and guess what?
You’ll never guess. I’ll just tell you. Are you ready? Are you sitting down?
THERE’S A CCI SERVICE DOG MUPPET ON SESAME STREET! And a real CCI dog named Hercules!
According to my inside secret sources (OK, OK, I found the press release on CCI’s website), "Hercules helps new Muppet character Brandeis find his calling as an assistance dog. Brandeis, a yellow Labrador retriever, is looking for a job on Sesame Street. Elmo notices that Gina is working with a dog. She explains that she is training Hercules to be a service dog. Brandeis is up for the challenge! He begins training right away, learning how to do things like opening drawers, turning on lights and picking up and bringing things."
Now, I’m not going to give away the whole story, so you’ll have to tune in to see if Brandeis graduates as a service dog. You might need a tissue, is all I'm saying. The episode airs October 12, November 12 and November 30. Check your local listings for specific times and put it on your calendar!
Chow for now!
