Patton is a 6-year-old Labrador retriever at The Denver Animal Shelter and needs a forever home.
Staff tells 7NEWS he is good with children of any age but suggests the children visit with him before adoption. Patton has been to treat-based training classes and knows commands such as "sit," "down," and "shake."
Patton is very friendly and active, so exercise is a must. Staff says Patton works better as the only dog in the household. If you're interested, visit the shelter at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave., or call 720-913-1311.
