For those animal lovers who enjoy the holiday season and also like to help area homeless pets, don’t miss these two fun upcoming events both in the same day!

Foothills Animal Foundation’s 2nd Annual HOWLiday Mart

  • Who: Foothills Animal Foundation is the nonprofit organization that supports the animals cared for by Foothills Animal Shelter.
  • When: Saturday, November 10
  • Time: 11 am – 4 pm
  • Where: Foothills Animal Shelter (580 McIntyre Street, Golden, 80401 – near 6th & Indiana on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds)
  • What: Local crafters will be selling unique goods ranging from jewelry, holiday décor, pet products and more! Customers can also mingle through the holiday-decorated Shelter to look at adoptable pets.
  • Vendors will donate a portion of their proceeds to help the animals.

HOWLiday Pet Portraits (on the SAME day)

  • Who: Foothills Animal Shelter
  • When: Saturday, November 10
  • Time: 10 am – 5 pm
  • Where: Foothills Animal Shelter (580 McIntyre Street, Golden, 80401 – near 6th & Indiana on the Jefferson County Fairgrounds)
  • Only $20 for a sitting fee with you and your pet(s) and/or your pet(s) by themselves (including one FREE 5x7).
  • Photos are done by a professional with a beautiful and tasteful holiday themed back-drop (no Santas).
  • Many photo package options available (including putting your pet’s image on a mug)!
  • Reservations strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome.
  • A percentage of the photo sales will be going to help Foothills Animal Shelter.
