122 dogs confiscated from alleged hoarding situation in Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. - One-hundred-twenty-two dogs were removed from a home in Adams County Tuesday in an alleged animal hoarding case.
The Dumb Friends League reports their investigations team worked with the Adams County Sheriff's Office, county Animal Control and the county Animal Shelter to remove the pets from the home north of Watkins.
"This is an on-going investigation, but the owner is cooperating and cooperated with the removal of the animals," the Dumb Friends League said.
Sixty of the dogs were taken to the Adams County Animal Shelter, while the remainder will being cared for at the Dumb Friends League Quebec Street Shelter. The pets will not be up for adoption for some time because of medical evaluations and tests.
