DENVER -- Independence Day is just days away and if you're not from Denver and don't wish to travel this far to see the fireworks, you may wonder where else you can go to see some incredible displays. 

We've compiled a list of some spots that are holding Fourth of July celebrations across Colorado. Check them out below.

Arvada

Fourth of July – Independence Day Celebration

When: July 4, 207 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex, 10664 West 58th Avenue, Arvada, Colo.

What: Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Arvada this Fourth of July! There will be food vendors, free entertainment, and more – and of course, the firework display!

Aurora

Fourth of July Spectacular

When: July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway, Aurora, Colo.

What: The City of Aurora invites you to join them in celebrating Independence Day at the Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn. There will be live music, good food and a firework display, which is hailed as one of the best in Colorado.

Boulder

Ralphie’s Independence Day Blast

When: July 4, 2017 at 8:30 p.m.

Where: Folsom Field

What: The City of Boulder, along with the University of Colorado and several other local organizations present the Boulder 4th of July spectacular. There will be live music and of course, the fireworks show!

Colorado Springs

Summer Symphony at Memorial Park

When: July 4, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Where: Memorial Park, 1605 E. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.

What: Get ready for the region’s largest event, featuring troops from Fort Carson, The Liberty Belles, amazing food and thunderous fireworks to light up the night sky. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cripple Creek

Cripple Creek Fourth of July Celebration

When: July 1, 2017 from noon to 10 p.m.

Where: Brass Ass Parking Lot, 264 Bennett Avenue

What: Hailed as one of the best Fourth of July celebrations across the state, the Cripple Creek 4th of July celebration will host a beer garden, food vendors and live entertainment. Visit the Cripple Creek’s website to learn more.

Denver

Cherry Creek Arts Festival

When: July 1 – July 3, 2017

Where: Cherry Creek North, from 2nd to 3rd Avenues, on the seven streets between Columbine and Steel Streets.

What: This free, outdoor extravaganza of Denver’s celebration of the visual, performing and culinary arts, gives more than 350,000 visitors the chance to meet and talk with international visual artists, enjoy a wide range of family-friendly fund and sample fine cuisine.

Independence Eve Fireworks

When: July 3, 2017 at 8 p.m.

Where: Denver’s Civic Center Park

What: The annual Independence Eve Celebration at Civic Center Park will feature a free patriotic concert, an innovative light snow on the Denver City and County Building and a stunning fireworks finale. Lawn seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fireworks at Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park

When: July 4, 2017

Where: Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park

What: Spend the day riding the roller coasters and the water slides at Elitch Gardens, then watch a brilliant firework display light up the night sky, starting at dusk

Four Mile Historic Park Independence Celebration

When: July 1, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S. Forest Street, Denver, Colo.

What: Celebrate Independence Day with old-time games, historic demonstrations, music and more. Bring a blanket or a chair and stay for the Glendale Firework show. There will be food and a beer garden. No pets, outside food or beverages, outside fireworks or crackers or other flammables allowed.

Stars and Stripes Express at Denver’s Union Station

When: July 3 and 4 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Denver’s Union Station

What: Join Denver’s Union Station for their 3rd annual Stars and Stripes Express Fest.

Golden

Fourth of July Celebration in Golden

When: July 4, from noon to 10 p.m.

Where: Lions Park, 1300 10th Street, Golden, Colo.

What: The City of Golden and the Golden Lions Club will be hosting their annual Fourth of July festival at Lions Park. There will be events for the whole family starting at noon and it will all cap off with the firework display after it gets dark.

Highlands Ranch

Fourth of July Celebration in Highlands Ranch

When: July 4, 2017

Where: Highland Heritage Regional Park, 9651 S. Quebec. Street, Highlands Ranch

What: The Highlands Ranch Community Association is hosting a special Fourth of July celebration that will include special events throughout the day. There will be a 5K run, the 4th of July parade, games, live music and a firework display

Monument

Tri Lakes Fourth of July Celebration

When: July 4, 2017 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Monument. Visit their page for more information.

What: The Town of Monument will be transformed this 4th of July weekend as several events will be taking place across town. Things will start off with a pancake breakfast, a fun-run, a street fair and the Fourth of July parade through the town.

Northglenn

Northglenn’s Fourth of July Festival

When: July 4 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park, 11800 Community Center Drive, Northglenn, Colorado.

What: Celebrate our independence by coming down to the City of Northglenn for the pancake breakfast, 4-mile run, bake sale, car show, parade, and of course, the firework show.

Pagosa Springs

Celebrate 4th of July in Pagosa

When: July 1 through July 4, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Pagosa Springs.

What: Come celebrate Independence Day in Pagosa Springs starting with the Park to Park Art Crafts and Festival on Saturday, July 1. Then, prepare to celebrate the United States of America with the Fourth of July Parade. Parker

Stars and Stripes Celebration

When: July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Salisbury Park, 11920 N. Motsenbocker Road, Parker, Colo.

What: Celebrate the Fourth of July with Parker’s Stars and Strips celebration! There will be lots of food, many activities for the kids as well as for adults and it will all conclude with the best fireworks in town.

Pueblo

Pueblo Wet Parade

When: July 4, 2017

What: The annual Pueblo Wet Parade sets itself apart from other parades by soaking all participants along the route.

14th annual Rollin’ on the Riverwalk

Where: AMR Confluence Plaza

What: The St. Mary Corwin Medical Center will be hosting a symphony and patriotic fireworks display at the AMR Confluence Plaza. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the concert beginning at 8 p.m. It will all end with a beautiful firework display. For more information, visit their website.

Fourth of July Celebration In Westminster
