BOULDER, Colo. - Free HIV testing will be available in Boulder on Saturday, June 7.
The test is anonymous and only requires a simple finger-prick procedure.
Test results available in just 10 minutes.
The testing will be held at the Boulder County AIDS Project at 2118 14th St. from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone ages 13-64 years should be tested for HIV at least once, yet only an estimated 40 percent of individuals report ever being tested.
This is the 9th year that Boulder County Public Health (BCPH) and Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) have hosted the community event to celebrate National HIV Testing Day. Since its inception in 2006, over 1,000 free and anonymous HIV tests have been provided.
