If your Christmas list is far from complete because you're waiting to find the best bargains, procrastinate no longer. There are a couple of Web sites that can help.
PriceGrabber.com says it can find the lowest price for whatever product you're looking for. What's really nice about the site is that it gives you the "bottom-line price" for the product. It calculates the tax and the shipping to get you the true price for the item so you can make a realistic cost comparison.
Amazing-Bargains.com says it updates the greatest deals offered on the web every 15 minutes. The deals are listed by category, by store, by expiration date, and by popularity. Right now, one of the most popular deals is from Buy.com -- a Sony Playstation 2 console for $180.
DealofDay.com has the same premise as these other two sites. It scours the web for the best deals of the day. It also provides additional coupons to save you more money on the featured sites. A good coupon I found was for free shipping on RedEnvelope.com and a $50-off coupon for an order of $175 or more.
These sites go beyond just finding you the best price. They also rate the retailers that are selling the items and give you product reviews from some of the bargain hunters themselves.
The items you buy now will probably not arrive by Christmas if you use standard shipping, but hopefully, if you get just the perfect gift, your loved ones won't mind. And the good part about online shopping -- no long post office lines.
