3 Next-Level Watermelon Recipes You Have to Try

Everyone loves watermelon, but this sweet fruit also has its limitations. You either eat a slice of it, or you cut it into cubes. Well, those days are gone! Brian Corsetti has three delicious watermelon recipes that will be the ultimate hit at your next party.

1.  Star Spangled Watermelon

Cut out a slice of watermelon about an inch thick, and use a cookie cutter to cut out star shapes. Now take some blueberries, mini-marshmallows, and stick them onto wooden skewers. Top them with those watermelon stars and you're done! This is a perfect treat for your 4th of July or Labor Day celebrations. Go America!

2.  Watermelon Pizza

This savory summer treat is simple to make. Just cut a round watermelon in half, lay the flat part on a cutting board, and then cut a one inch slice from each half. Now, cut each half into 4 wedges and place them on a flat plate. You're ready to give it a sprinkle of feta, mint, Kalamata olives and a healthy drizzle of balsamic glaze. Mmm!

3.  Watermelon Slushy Bowl

Start by cutting a mini seedless watermelon in half, then scoop out the insides and freeze them until firm. Now cut another watermelon, scoop out the insides and blend them into juice. Once your watermelon is frozen, add it to a blender along with lime juice, coconut milk and a little watermelon juice. Blend on low until it is smooth, dump it into a hollowed out watermelon half and garnish with a twist of lime.

You’re ready to take your watermelon game to the next level with these three delicious recipes.
