DENVER -- Cinephiles, rejoice! The 2017 Film on the Rocks lineup dropped Thursday and the selection does not disappoint – especially if you still need your Star Wars fix.

The 18th season of the Denver Film’s Society’s and the Denver Arts and Venues’ ‘Film on the Rocks’ kicks off in less than a month at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Check out the lineup below:

The Rebel Alliance makes a risky move to steal the plans for the Death Star, setting up the epic saga to follow.

3. Long Strange Trip (premiere) – Thursday, May 25

The tale of the Grateful Dead is inspiring, complicated, and downright messy. A tribe of contrarians, they made art out of open-ended chaos and inadvertently achieved success on their own terms. Never-before-seen footage and interviews offer this unprecedented and unvarnished look at the life of the Dead.

4. Dirty Dancing – Monday, June 5

Spending the summer at a Catskills resort with her family, Frances "Baby" Houseman falls in love with the camp's dance instructor, Johnny Castle.

5. Film on the Rocks Fan Favorite Wedding Film – Monday, June 12

This one is up to you! Fans will be able to vote for their favorite wedding film beginning April 27 at westword.com/freestuff. Films competing for your vote include Father of the Bride, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Kill Bill Volume 1, Melancholia, Bridesmaids, Princess Bride, Sixteen Candles, Steel Magnolias, The Graduate, The Wedding Singer, Wedding Crashers and The Hangover

Voting ends May 4.

6. The Fifth Element – Monday, June 19

In the colorful future, a cab driver unwittingly becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr Zorg at bay.

7. The LEGO Movie – Monday, July 17

An ordinary Lego construction worker, thought to be the prophesied 'Special', is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the Lego universe into eternal stasis.

8. The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert – Thursday, July 20

Two drag performers and a transgender woman travel across the desert to perform their unique style of cabaret.

9. Twister – Monday, September 11

Bill and Jo Harding, advanced storm chasers on the brink of divorce, must join together to create an advanced weather alert system by putting themselves in the cross-hairs of extremely violent tornadoes.

General admission tickets ($15) will go on sale on Friday, April 21. Expect an uptick in prices at the door. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with a musician or comedian opening the show at 6:30 p.m. Films are shown at dusk. The VIP Experience is on sale now. For more information, click here
