Lollipop-Looza Kids’ Expo

What: See a recreation center turned into a kid’s playhouse with everything from special batting cage games, dunk tanks, inflatables, games and prizes.

Where: Recreation Center at Westridge, 9650 Foothills Canyon Blvd., Highlands Ranch, Colo.

Sounds of Southlands Concert

What: Bring a blanket, your pet and your best dance moves as you begin the weekend with the Sounds of Southlands Concert. This concert series will take place every Friday until August 30.

Where: Town Center at Southlands Mall, 6155 South Main Street, Aurora, Colo.

Festival of Felines

What: A free event for kids of all ages celebrating the Cat Care Society shelter, community outreach programs
and the 2013 Tails of the Painted Cats. Enjoy all the felines, plus food,
face painting and feline origami fun.

Aurora Arts Festival

What: See art and small business vendors, arts and craft demonstrations and activities,
as well as games and live music.

Missoula Children’s Theatre presents “The Tortoise vs. The Hare”

What: See the famous race through the eyes of a TV news team covering the big event.

Mile High Yoga Experience and Wellness Fest

What: Team up with the Colorado Outlaws to be a part of the largest free yoga class in Colorado.
This event is on the field at Sports Authority Field at Mile High includes a Wellness Lounge,
healthy cooking demos, DJ’s, free massage and a kids corner just to name a few.

Youth Smoking Prevention Campaign

What: The nation's largest youth smoking prevention campaign - is touring with the Vans Warped Tour,
bringing its distinctive orange truth 'truck' and tour riders to Denver. With a DJ and dance floor,
tour riders will educate teens about tobacco use, play games, hold dancing and singing contests,
and hand out free educational 'gear' featuring tobacco-related facts.
