Boulder’s Frasca Food and Wine was named a finalist for the Outstanding Restaurant award and is one of six restaurants competing for the title. Frasca has won the James Beards awards for Outstanding Wine Service and Best Chef: Southwest, according to The Denver Post.
Frasca is looking to expand and a new spot is planned to open in Denver near Union Station later this year.
Chef Steve Redzikowski of Denver’s Acorn restaurant is competing for the Best Chef award with five other big names in the southwest. He has been a finalist in the past, but has never made it to the final round, the Denver Post also reported.
