DENVER – Easter weekend festivities are just around the corner and there are many things happening in the Denver metro area and beyond that you can enjoy with the whole family.
1.) Easter Party 2017 at Topgolf Centennial
Topgolf Centennial is hosting an Easter Party event full of festivities for the little ones. Take some photos with the Easter Bunny, go on an Easter egg hunt or enjoy other Easter-themed crafts.

2.) Easter Eggstravaganza in Broomfield
Broomfield is hosting an Eggstravaganza featuring the 23rd annual Egg Scramble at the Broomfield Community Center and Park, 280 Spader Way.

3.) Bunny Bolt 5K/10K at City Park
The 6th Annual Bunny Bolt 5K/10K at City Park in Denver is for the whole family, not just the little ones.
The event features Denver’s only Golden Egg Hunt for adults. As you move along the course, you’ll find many awesome prizes if you are able to find the precious golden eggs.
You can also enjoy a free yoga class, and get some cool prizes such as a race t-shirt, a goody bag, free photo downloads and a chance to win other prizes. Bring the kids for the 1K Rabbit Rush, the massive Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, balloon artists and photos with the Easter Bunny.

4.) Easter Candy Hunt in Henderson
Kids will get the chance to hunt for candy around the Mile High Flea Market in Henderson. Get a raffle ticket and you can get the chance to win one of many prizes after the hunt.

5.) Easter Bunny Breakfast and Brunch at Downtown Denver Aquarium
Kids are invited to have breakfast or brunch with the Easter Bunny at the Downtown Denver Aquarium. Not only that, they’ll also get a chance to go on Easter egg hunts, take photos with the Easter Bunny and get 50 percent off exhibit entry and 15 percent off retail purchases with $25 minimum purchase.

7.) Easter Eggstravaganza at the Glendale Sports Center
Come with the whole family to celebrate Easter at the Glendale Sports Center’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza! There will be an egg hunt at Infinity Park Sports Field, so make sure to bring your Easter basket and camera to create some good memories for you and your children. The Easter Bunny will also be hopping by for a visit.

8.) Bunny Express Train at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden
This is an annual tradition for the City of Golden. Hop along with the whole family on the Bunny Express Train and experience what it was like to travel by train over 100 years ago.
Spike the Railyard Hound will be handing out candy with the help of the Easter Bunny.

Want to have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny? Then come on down to The Orchard Town Center in Westminster’s entertainment stage. You can bring your own camera and take free photos against a spring backdrop. There will also be special giveaways for kids to take home.

10.) Take photos with the Easter Bunny in Aurora
The Easter Bunny is also hopping by the Town Center at Aurora for Easter family photos! You’ll find the bunny on the lower level in front of Dillard’s.

11.) Take photos with the Easter Bunny in Lakewood
Colorado Mills will be hosting their annual Easter celebration, offering both young and old the chance to take part in fun, seasonal photos with the Easter Bunny.
Kids will also have the opportunity to play and build LEGO models they can take home with them at the end of the day.

12.) Highlands Ranch Easter Egg Hunt
The Highlands Ranch Community Association claims this is the largest Easter Egg Hunt in the city with over 25,000 coveted eggs hidden and waiting to be found. The Easter Bunny will be hopping by Northridge Park to take a photo with your whole family – bring your own camera!

13.) Hoppin’ Half
The Hoppin’ Half is being hosted by Stapleton Run Series at Central Park in Stapleton. Join in for the 5K, the 10K, the Half Marathon or bring your child for the Kid’s Cottontail Fun Run, or the Old Fashioned Sack Race. There will be other Easter weekend activities as well as music, food and drinks.

Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks
“On Resurrection Sunday (April 16), 2017, the Colorado Council of Churches will host its 70th Annual Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and we will commemorate the 500th anniversary of The Reformation!” reads the event’s Facebook page.
