Twice a month during the normal school year we do two Saturdays a month," Barrett said.It may surprise many but the kids eat it up."Every experience in the classroom is fun," said one student named Destiny."They don't give up on kids like normal schools would," said another student named Camon."Since I came from really poor neighborhoods, I didn't know my multiplication tables. But since I came here, I've been really good at it now," said Nanci.Nanci said she used to pretend to be sick to avoid her old school. Now she's planning for college and she's only in eighth grade.
