On World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, Starbucks coffee will donate 5 cents to fight the disease for every drink it sells.

The money will go to the Global Fund, which focuses its efforts on Africa, according to a Facebook page about the effort.

Starbucks said that, in the last year, it has raised enough money to buy 7 million days' worth of medicine for people with HIV.

The coffee shop also sells CDs whose proceeds benefit the fund.
