Eat Better To Improve Your Sex Life
Dietician: Certain Foods Can Help Enhance Love Life

For those who may be looking to improve their love life, the kitchen may be the place to start, according to a new book called "The Better Sex Diet."
The first suggestion involves grapes. They're an appealing treat for some, and they can even whet the appetite for desire, as in feeding grapes to your partner. And another benefit is that they are actually heart healthy.
Registered dietitian Elizabeth Ward said grapes are good for reducing the risk of heart disease.
Another heart-healthy addition includes breakfast cereal.
"I've heard it before, but I don't know if I buy it," student Andrew Rosenzweig said.
Ward says to check the label for folic acid because when it's fortified with other B vitamins, it can help keep the arteries clear. And that can directly help your love life.
"When you keep arteries clear, you enhance blood flow to all the right places," Ward said.
And why not throw some blueberries on top? They've been found to help with nerve function, which leads to improved sensation.
Along with cereal, you could try serving your loved one some orange juice, which is packed with vitamin C, which in turn is loaded with collagen.
"Collagen keeps your skin nice and smooth and your muscles nice and taught. And it may actually enhance attraction to a partner," Ward said.
If that partner is nuts about babies, almonds may be the answer.
"Almonds are rich in vitamin E, [which is] an antioxidant that can protect sperm health," Ward said.
Ward says men can help themselves by ordering spaghetti and meatballs. The key ingredient here is tomato sauce. Not only are cooked tomatoes packed with licopine, which can protect the prostate, but meatballs are full of zinc, which can reduce impotence and infertility, according to Ward.
Doctors say even if it's not better sex you're looking for, a diet rich in vitamins and minerals is good for everyone.
"This is all healthy advice. You want to protect your health so you have the best sex life possible," Ward said.
