Find Out Where To Get Free Prostate Cancer Screenings

Get Tested During Prostate Cancer Awareness Week

It is important to get tested for prostate cancer because the earlier you catch the cancer, the better chance you have to beating it. One of the best times to do that is during Prostate Cancer Awareness Week. There are a variety of free screenings all over the Denver-metro area.

September 17: Medical Center of Aurora North is offering a screening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Call (877) 432-5846 to schedule an appointment.

September 17-20: Anschutz Cancer Pavilion has times from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Walk-ins welcomed.

September 18: North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton has appointment only screening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Call 303-575-0055. Location: 9141 Grant St. Suite B45.

September 19: Sky Ridge Cancer Center in Lone Tree is offering screenings from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Call 720-225-4200. Location: 10103 Ridge Gate Parkway.

September 21: Denver Health Medical Center is offering screenings between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Call for an appointment: 303-436-4070. Location: 777 Bannock St.

September 22: Exempla Lutheran in Wheat Ridge offering screenings. Call 303-425-2929 for more details. Location: 3555 Lutheran Pkwy, Suite 230.

September 22: The Urology Center of Colorado in Denver offering screenings. Call 303-825-8822. Location: 2777 Mile High Stadium Circle.
