Mars' DogBlog - Meet Jacques Catsteau

Chapter 65 - Humane Society of Boulder 2011 Gala

April 13, 2011

Hey, want to go to a really fun event, support animals in Boulder and meet my friend, Mike Nelson? I know you do!

Join Jacques Catsteau (ouch) and his dogged crew (again, ouch) of explorers at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley’s biggest event of the year, Under the Sea - Puttin on the Leash. It’s Saturday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at the Coors Events Center on the CU Campus in Boulder.

Guaranteed to be oceans of fun (*snicker*), Puttin' on the Leash will feature adoption animals strutting the boardwalk along with live and silent auctions, heart-warming presentations, incredible food and drink, along with special guest hosts Mike Nelson, Chief Meteorologist of Denver's 7, Dr. Lee Woods of Broadway Animal Hospital and much more!

Go to the Puttin' On the Leash website for more details and to buy tickets. You'll also see a preview of the fabulous food offerings and live auction items. You can also call 303-442-4030 x655 for additional information.

Oh, and at the live auction at the event? Mike Nelson is donating a tour of the station (ask to meet me!) and dinner with him. I guarantee you'll enjoy it! And remember, all proceeds benefit the homeless and abandoned animals at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.

Chow for now!
