DENVER -- April 25, 2010

I'm recuperating nicely from my surgery and thanks to everyone for all the get-well wishes. The hardest part has been NOT playing with Meryl, but Marianne finally allowed us to romp a bit today. Maybe by tomorrow she'll let us gallop around the yard at full speed.

While I've been on enforced quiet time, I've been helping Marianne with her email. She received one this morning from my Auntie Vanessa that was amazing.

You may remember that last summer Marianne invited a photographer named Haley Poulos to come photograph the pets? Well, Vanessa and Kevin decided to do the same and Haley photographed them yesterday.

Her work is nothing short of astonishing. She manages to capture more than the image of the person or the animal; she captures hearts and souls, too.
