I bet you're been wondering where I've been haven't you? I bet you wondered why I haven't written a DogBlog for almost two weeks. I bet you've missed me, haven't you? HAVEN'T YOU? Well, never fear, I'm back! I've been On The Road. I'm a Foreign Correspondent. Sort of.

Actually I'm in Alberqrue - er- Albuqreke - er - Abubuququeruqe - er- New Mexico. I'm with my Grandma Barb, Marianne's Mom. She's not feeling well and I told Marianne we should visit for awhile. Marianne and John are taking turns staying here and staying in Denver (right now Marianne is in Denver and John is here) but I am staying with Grandma Barb, regardless.

John said, "This is a good opportunity for you to practice being a helper dog."

Marianne said, "Mind your manners and don't jump on the bed, lick Mom's toes or help her take her medicine."

John said, "This is your chance to show how a good CCI dog can be."

Marianne said, "BEHAVE YOURSELF."

Barb said, "Oh Ross, I love you to bits and I'm going to let you do anything you want."

Whoo-hoo! I love my Grandma Barb.

Anyhow, I am being mostly good and minding my manners most of the time. When I'm INVITED I can get on the bed and snuggle with Barb and I'm trying not to lick her toes or eat tissues from the trash can (I don't understand why humans throw tissues away when they are so yummy) or play with stuffed animals that aren't mine. Dogs, CCI dogs especially, are The Best Medicine, after all.

Oops, I hear Grandma Barb calling for a cup of tea, so I'm sure that means she needs me to snuggle with her while she drinks it.
