GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. -- The Wii opened the gaming world to making exercising fun, while getting kids and families moving.The new XRKade kicks up the gaming experience.It is 2,100 square feet of exercise and active gaming systems inside the Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club at 5801 South Quebec Street in Greenwood Village, Colo.
Organizers say it helps children increase their endurance, mental acuity and stamina; which help them perform better during outdoor sports like walking, hiking and playing sports.There is a monthly membership fee of $50, but Athletic club members can pay $15.To check out the XRKade for free visit the Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club this Saturday June 13 and Sunday 14 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.To learn more about the program, visit www.greenwoodathleticclub.com.
