Local Moms Help Mompreneurs Launch Own Business

Bubble Gum On My Business Plan Teaches The Basics

Have you ever had an idea and wanted to turn it into a business, but never did. Two local Moms want to help change that. They're using their experiences of launching their own business to teach it to other mompreneurs like them.

"It can be an uphill battle if you don't know what you're doing or where you're going," said co-creator Kelly Paull.

Paull and Julie Watson created Bubble Gum On My Business Plan. BGBP focuses on three steps: mindset, marketing, and motivation from mom entrapreneurs.

"Once you want to turn it into your business how do you do it? So it's a step by step process, "said Watson.

The basic steps to help entrapreneurs get started. Simple things such as finding out if anyone already took your product's name or how to start your own webpage. BGBP has a checklist entrepreneurs can use to guide them. Entrepreneurs like Linda Brookover.

"If you need to slow down you can slow down. If you need to speed up, you can speed up," said Brookover.

She used her talent for color and craft to create her own line of lamp shades and personalized purses.

Brookooer said she's learned how to market her product, which is key to getting to word out.

"Get behind something that makes you excited. Get behind something that makes you jump out of bed in the morningl," said Paull.

"I want to empower them. Empower them to be all that they can be," said Watson.
