Moms At Work: Turning Hobbies Into Jobs
Group Of Moms Make Tippy Toe Flip Flops
STAPLETON, Colo. -- How would you like to turn your hobby into a business? It's a dream that many people seeking financial freedom would love to have. The dream came true, for three stapleton stay-at-home moms, Erin Williams, Kelly Starva, and Patty Myers.
"We figured out a way to make that extra pocket money and then to do it with our girlfriends," said Williams.
Williams came up with tippy toe flip flops while shopping for craft items for her daughter.
"I'm a stay-at-home mother with two kids and I don't have a whole lot of time, but putting on a cute pair of flip flops, all of a sudden I felt more put together," said Williams.
So she decided to ask Starva and Myers, who also have two kids each to help. That's how Tippy Toe Flip Flops was born.
The decorative flip flops are made with style and comfort in mind. The moms say it's for busy moms who can run around chasing their kids, while looking fashionable. The women say the best part about working together is they don't have to miss a moment with their kids.
"We all agree that our main priority is to be a stay-at-home mom," said Myers.
