NEW YORK -
In her latest brush with the law, police arrested actress Lindsay Lohan on Thursday after an alleged altercation at a New York nightclub.
The incident occurred about 4 a.m. at a club in Manhattan, the New York Police Department said.
Lohan may have hit another woman at the club, police said. Authorities declined to say whether she faced charges.
No more information was immediately available.
The former child star is trying to make a career comeback after years of legal troubles.
In recent years, Lohan has faced legal troubles over driving under the influence, probation violations and a 2011 necklace theft.
Police also charged her with leaving the scene of an accident in September.
