DENVER - The Kanye West concert at the Pepsi Center that was postponed last weekend has now been canceled.
The concert was postponed after custom stage equipment was damaged in a truck crash prior to a show in Vancouver, Canada.
The circular video truss and 60-foot circular LED screen were damaged "beyond repair," the Island Def Jam Music Group told ABC News.
While the tour will resume on Nov. 16, concert promoters have decided to cancel shows in Denver, Vancouver, Columbus, Montreal, Minneapolis and St. Louis.
"This gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA," record company spokesman Gabe Tesoriero wrote in an email. "Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans."
The Chicago, Toronto, and Detroit dates have been rescheduled.
