DENVER - Kanye West's Sunday concert at the Pepsi Center is being postponed after custom stage equipment was damaged in a truck crash prior to his show in Vancouver, Canada.
The circular video truss and 60-foot circular LED screen was damaged "beyond repair" in the crash Wednesday, the Island Def Jam Music Group told ABC News.
"This gear is central to the staging of The Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA," record company spokesman Gabe Tesoriero wrote in an email. "Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans."
The concerts in Vancouver and Minneapolis were also postponed. The record company says new dates will be announced soon.
