Justin Bieber collapses during London show

LONDON - Justin Bieber collapsed on stage during a London concert Thursday night.

The 19-year-old singer was experience breathing issues on stage, according to fans who tweeted about his problems.

"Justin got very light of breath -- the whole show he has been complaining," Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, told the crowd . "He's backstage with the EMTs and the doctor."

Bieber's spokeswoman said the singer ignored doctor's orders and returned to the O2 Arena stage to finish the sold-out performance.

The Canadian singer had not been suffering from any health issues prior to the show, a spokeswoman said.

Later, Bieber tweeted: "getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love."  He also uploaded an Instagram  photo of himself -- minus shirt -- in his hospital bed.

He is scheduled to perform one more show at the O2 Arena.  He's in Europe as part of his "Believe" tour.

Fans have already started circulating the hashtag "#justintakeabreak" on Twitter after news of his collapse spread on the social network.

Bieber was performing for the third out of four nights at London's O2 Arena as part of the European leg of his sold-out "Believe" world tour.
