DENVER – Come join the Denver7 Morning team Friday evening as we ring in the holiday season with the 2017 Grand Illumination of Union Station in downtown Denver.
Festivities officially kick off at 6 p.m., but people are expected to start gathering at Union Station hours ahead of then.

The Denver Dolls will be performing; there will be a live ice sculpting demo and free hot chocolate from Visit Estes; the Denver Bronze Handbell Ensemble will perform; and Santa, Dinger and the Downtown Denver Partnership mascot, Mr. Waddles, will be on hand for the kids to enjoy.
At 6 p.m., the sponsors of this year’s Grand Illumination, including Visit Estes, The Rockies, ENT Credit Union, East West Partners and 1st Bank, will join media partner Denver7 for the official Grand Illumination—hosted by LoDo District, Inc.
Votive lights will be passed out to some of the crowd to participate in the Grand Illumination, which is expected to take place around 6:15 p.m.
