DENVER -- It's been a little more than 15 years since we all stepped into the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the first time -- and this Friday, J.K. Rowling's magical adventure will continue with the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The movie, set in 1926 -- 65 years before the events Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone -- tells the story of writer Newt Scamander, "who arrives in New York after completing a worldwide trip to find and document an array of magical creatures."
While it's no Harry Potter, this spin-off has fans of the original franchise excited.

And it's not just the fans who are feeling the magic.
Fantastic Beasts is already beating Marvel's Doctor Strange in pre-sales according to Fandango statistics, BoxOfficePro reports:
“’Beasts’ is off to a fantastic start,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “Fans are beyond excited to return to a wizarding world full of magic and mystery, once again guided by the inventive playfulness of author J.K. Rowling.”
In anticipation for the film, Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt in Beasts, released a PSA telling the whole world why House Hufflepuff (which is the house that gets picked on the most and gets little attention) is the best Hogwarts house in the wizarding world (hint: it's not because Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is a member).
