First Lady Michelle Obama to release hip-hop album promoting health and fitness

Album set to release on Sept. 30

WASHINGTON D.C. - Before you hit the treadmill to exercise, you may turn on your favorite tunes to get your body moving. This fall, First Lady Michelle Obama will have her own imprints on some workout music, in the form of a hip-hop album.

The 19-track album will be the latest addition to Mrs. Obama’s Let’s Move! Campaign to get kids to eat healthy.

The album will feature rap legends Doug E. Fresh and Run DMC, as well as R&B singers Ashanti and Jordin Sparks. Dr. Oz also makes a cameo on the song, "Everybody."

Several of the song titles keep in tune with the healthy theme like, "We Like Vegetables," "Veggie Luv," "Mother May I," track No. 16; and "U R What You Eat," the featured first track, according to the Washington Post.

The album is due to be released Sept. 30.
