DENVER -

Colorado's largest 5K fundraiser for ovarian cancer returns to Denver’s City Park on June 1st. Inspired by volunteers, the mission is to promote awareness of ovarian cancer through advocacy, education and support.

Jodi's Race, the proceeds of which benefit the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA), was the inspiration of Jodi Brammeier, a Colorado native who lost her fight to ovarian cancer but whose spirit lives on through the race and the lives she has saved by raising awareness.

Supporters can help honor those lost and celebrate survivors by participating. For more visit http://www.colo-ovariancancer.org/jodisraceforawareness
