We Believe in Colorado Day

What:  Join 7NEWS downtown as we celebrate Colorado’s Birthday.  Free T-shirts, music, food, games and more will fill Glenarm Street in front of the Denver Pavilions.

Denver County Fair

What: Celebrate the creativity and personality of Denver with events, exhibitors, blue ribbon competitions, stage demonstrations, kid’s activities, entertainment and more.

Where: National Western Complex, 4655 Humboldt Street, Denver, Colo.

When: Friday: 12 p.m.-9 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The Color Run

What: Also known as the Happiest 5K on the Planet, runners begin race wearing white and finish the race plastered in color.  The fun continues after the race with a Finish Festival that will include music, dancing and more color.  Come out to run or just watch the fun.

Denver Broncos Summer Scrimmage

What:  Hey Broncos fans, don’t miss your chance to watch the Denver Broncos play at Sports Authority Field at Mile High for Free!   The summer scrimmage is a free, public event that will also include family friendly pre-event activities located on the new Sports Legend Mall at the south end of the stadium.

Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High

When: Saturday: Gates open at 8:45 a.m., Practice begins 10:45 a.m., Scrimmage begins at 11:55 a.m.

Boog-A-Loo Youth Arts Festival

What:  Music, visual and performance artists come together with Colorado families for a day of fun and learning. Attractions include art and dance activities for kids, professional artists, plus food, music and fun.

 Where:  McNichols Civic Center Building, 144 W. Colfax, Denver, Colo.

When:  Saturday: 10:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Highlands Ranch Concert Band – Children’s Concert

What: The annual children’s concert, with Symphonic Highlights from Frozen and other popular movie theme songs.  Kids are invited to dance in front of the stage, help conduct the band, see the instruments, and even enjoy a free otter pop.

Colorado Renaissance Festival Final Weekend

What: Journey back to medieval times, as you wonder through the village streets being entertained by costumed merrymakers from jugglers to maidens, full-armor jousting, turkey legs, music and more.  The festival also features a marketplace of more than 200 artisans.
