Greeley Tribune Home & Garden Show

What: Planning to remodel, update or simply need help finishing your honey-do list?  This free event is your one-stop-shop, your chance to visit with companies ready to introduce new technologies and trends in home improvements and landscaping.  Wander through the interactive displays and gardens.  Be inspired and get motivated.  There will be no excuses after attending this show.

Where:  Island Grove Regional Park, 501 N. 14th Avenue, Greeley, Colo.

When: Friday: 12 p.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Four Mile Historic Park Free Day

What: It’s a free day at the Four Mile Historic Park.  You’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time as you wander this 1859 farm.  Pan for gold, meet the farm animals and more.   You can enjoy free admission at this Denver landmark on the second Friday of each month. 

Where:  Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S. Forest Street, Denver, Colo.

Harlem Globetrotters

What: The world famous Harlem Globetrotters are making a stop in Denver, with three shows this weekend.  Catch a performance to see why they have been thrilling and entertaining millions of fans for over 90 years.

Where: Pepsi Center, 1000 Chopper Circle, Denver, Colo.; 1st Bank Center, 11450 Broomfield Lane, Broomfield, Colo.; and Budweiser Events Center, 5290 Arena Circle, Loveland, Colo.

When: Saturday: 1 p.m. at Pepsi Center; Saturday: 7:30 p.m. at 1st Bank Center; and Sunday: 2 p.m. at Budweiser Event Center

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

What: St. Patty’s Day isn’t until next week, but Denver likes to start the celebration early.  Head downtown for the 54th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade that will wind its way through LoDo.  You’ll see why it’s touted as the largest St. Patty’s Day Parade west of the Mississippi.  Wear your green and arrive early to get a good spot.  You won’t want to miss a second of this festive, family-fun event.

Family Day at CU Museum of Natural History

What:  The theme of the day – Come See What You Can “C.”  It’s all things “C” this weekend, from caterpillars and camels to carrots and cookies to cool crafts.  Celebrate a carnival of curiosity and creativity at this family-fun event.

Bumblebee Jamboree

What: Dance and sing like a butterfly.  Dress as your favorite pollinator and join Emmy-winning songwriter David Williams for a special live musical performance.  This family-friendly indoor concert will be fun for kids of all ages, but note there are a limited number of concert tickets available.

World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade

What: Want to cut to the chase and get your Irish on?  This is a parade so short you’ll want to walk the full, one block route yourself.  Parade participants include the World’s Tiniest Floats.  Family fun will continue after the parade with activities for the kids, plus traditional Irish music and dance.

Where: Pearl Street Mall, 13th Street between Walnut and Spruce, Boulder, Colo.
