Pearl Street Arts Fest

What: Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall is always a hub of activity and this weekend is no different.  Take a stroll through the Arts Fest that will feature over 100 artists from around the country displaying original works from jewelry and paintings to sculpture and recycled art.  Plus interactive performances and activities for the kids.

Where: Pearl Street Mall, between 11th Street and 15th Street, Boulder, Colo. 

When:  Saturday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Summerfest

What: With the majestic mountain setting as a backdrop, this two-day fine arts and craft festival will feature over 100 artists from around the country, plus live music and special performances, food, craft beer, and a kid’s activity area.

Where:  Evergreen Parkway/Hwy 74 and Squaw Pass Road, Evergreen, Colo.

When: Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission: $3 – Adults; Kids are free.

Orthodox Food Festival and Old Globeville Days

What: This annual festival will tempt your palate with savory flavors from Greece, Russia, Romania, Italy and more. While you are digesting the authentic cuisine, enjoy live music, dancing, vendors and other family fun activities.   

Where:  Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Cathedral and Argo Park, 349 E. 47th Avenue, Denver, Colo.

When:  Saturday: 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Insectival at Butterfly Pavilion

What:  It’s got to be the creepiest, crawliest celebration in town. The Butterfly Pavilion and Rosie are turning 21 this year and are throwing a party. Celebrate in this fun-filled carnival atmosphere that will include everything from cockroach races and bouncy castles to stilt walkers and face painting.  All Insectival activities are included with your general admission ticket.

Where: Butterfly Pavilion, 6252 West 104th Avenue, Westminster, Colo.

When: Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Admission: $11 – Adults; $9 – Seniors; $6 – Kids 2-12 years; Kids under 2 are free (Member discounts available.)

Centennial Brew-N-Que

What: Stop by Centennial’s inaugural BBQ and Beer Tasting Festival featuring local breweries and food trucks.  Plus live music from Colorado bands County Wide Bluegrass and New Family Dog.  All ages are welcome, but you must be 21 years and older to taste the brews.

Where: Centennial Center Park, 13050 E. Peakview Avenue, Centennial, Colo.

When: Saturday: 4 p.m.-9 p.m.
