Four Mile Historic Park Free Day

What: It’s a free day at the Four Mile Historic Park.  You’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time as you wander this 1859 farm.  Pan for gold, meet the farm animals and more.   You can enjoy free admission at this Denver landmark on the second Friday of each month.

Hammond’s Candy Factory Tour

What: Have a sweet tooth?  Did you know you can tour Colorado’s very own Hammond’s Candy Factory for free?  Factory tours run every half-hour Monday through Saturday.  Watch candy makers as they hand-pull and twist oversize candy canes, ribbon candy, lollipops and chocolate.  It’s educational fun for candy lovers of all ages.  And bonus, every tour guest gets a free candy sample.

What:  The Celtic festival season kicks off this weekend.  Stroll this free festival featuring vendor and clan booths, delicious food, historical re-enactments, live music from the Colorado Youth Pipe Band and Dancers, and more. Spend the weekend celebrating the rich Celtic heritage.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres

What: It’s opening weekend!  Jump on the bandwagon and see our Blake Street Bombers take on the San Diego Padres.  Single game seats are still available for the Saturday and Sunday games.

Aerobotics at the Hanger

What:  Love robotics and remote-controlled planes?  This is your chance to learn about the inner workings of robots and see how R/C planes and drones are flown.  Watch drones take flight inside the hanger, assemble your own model airplane, operate an R/C plane with help from one of the aircraft flight instructors, observe an R/C jet engine demonstration (weather permitting), and meet BB-8 and R2-D2 from Star Wars.
