Shrine Circus

What: America’s original 3-ring circus is in town for three days of shows this weekend.   The El Jebel Shrine Circus will dazzle audiences both young and old with feats of strength, skill, beauty and mystery, surrounded by an amazing display of light effects and sound.

What: Celebrate all things Shakespeare at this free event.  Enjoy live music performed by DeVotchKa’s Tom Hagerman and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.  Plus special performances by DCPA’s Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, Black Actor’s Guild, Catamounts Company, PHAMALY and more.

What: Ok, so the weather might not be ideal on Saturday but we must be getting closer to summer because Elitch Gardens opens for the season this weekend.

Boulder SpringFest 2016

What: Celebrate Spring on the Pearl Street Mall at this annual free festival featuring arts & crafts vendors, live music and food.  Plus face painting, balloon twisting and crafts for the kids.

When: Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Kite Flite Festival

What: It’s high flying fun.  Learn the artistry of kite flying and enjoy some friendly competition, or simply spread a blanket to lay and watch the colors dive, dip and zip through the air.  This fun family festival will also feature kids’ crafts and games, face painting, music, food, vendors and more.  Check website before heading out if weather looks questionable. Festival will only be cancelled in the event of heavy snow, rain or high winds.
