A website called "Empire News" reported Friday that the Netflix hit series "Orange Is The New Black" has been canceled.
"A woman’s place is in the home, in the kitchen, taking care of children," Netflix co-founder and CEO Reed Hastings is quoted as saying in the article.
By Saturday, the report prompted dozens of angry tweets about pulling the popular series.

Will Piper ever get out of jail?! I'll never know cause #OITNB got cancelled 😭😭😭😭— Shivani Brijmohan (@_ShivHappens) July 12, 2014
Did they really cancel #OITNB on Netflix or am I dreaming ? 😭😭— Anastasia Raeann ♡ (@just_annuhh) July 12, 2014
The only problem is, Empire News is a satirical website and the report is not true. Their top story on Saturday was headlined "Colorado Becomes First State To Legalize Crystal Meth."
