Actor STANLEY TUCCI fell for his wife FELICITY BLUNT after discovering they have a shared obsession with food.

Actress Emily Blunt introduced her sister Felicity to her The Devil Wears Prada co-star Tucci, who was widowed when his wife Kate lost her battle with cancer in 2009.

And the Big Night star admits he took an immediate liking to the literary agent after an unusual first date spent plucking game birds.

He tells Britain's Guardian newspaper, "One of the reasons I fell in love with my wife Felicity is she's as obsessed with food as I am.

"One night at the Ledbury (restaurant), in Notting Hill, the chef gave us two uncooked pheasants. We spent an hour and a half plucking together. Not wildly but carefully. She says the reason I fell in love with her was because of 'the way the light hit the carcass' when I saw her tearing flesh, with her bare hands, from the 26-pound suckling pig we'd spit-roasted."

Tucci married Felicity earlier this year (12).
