American Inventor's Denver Casting Call To Be Shown This Week

DENVER -- Contestants from the Denver casting call will appear on this week's episode of "American Inventor," airing Thursday, March 30 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Denver’s 7 KMGH-TV.The nationwide search for America's next big invention continues as ABC's hit show "American Inventor" features contestants from the open casting calls held in Denver, San Francisco, and New York.Thousands of inventors, tinkerers and entrepreneurs of all ages turned out during the open casting call held in Denver last December. Inventors from the passionate to the downright crazy auditioned before a panel of judges hoping their idea will be chosen as the next great invention.
"American Inventor" is the biggest search for the next great product with wide consumer appeal.A panel of expert judges will narrow down the initial entries to a group of finalists, who will each be given $50,000 to develop their product, refine it and take it to the next level. This show will make the American dream come true for one person, by taking his or her idea, vision and creativity and helping to turn it into a mass produced product that may be in every American home. But in the end, it will be up to America to call in and vote on which invention is worthy of the $1 million prize."American Inventor's" panel of expert judges include show co-creator Peter Jones, one of the United Kingdom's most successful entrepreneurs; Doug Hall, an inventor, best-selling author, radio host, as well as founder and CEO of Eureka! Ranch; Ed Evangelista, an executive creative director at JWT; and Mary Lou Quinlan, founder and CEO of Just Ask a Woman.From Simon Cowell and the producers of American Idol, "American Inventor" airs Thursdays on Denver’s 7 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
