It's agita at first sight when godlike Cal Morrisey takes voluptuous, full-figured Min Dobbs to dinner at his favorite Italian restaurant, debauching her witless with mouthfuls of hot, moist, homemade bread.

Min succumbs to the eats, but not Cal's charm; she's as wary of his "serial dating" rep as he is of her wicked-sharp tongue.

The two conspire not to be drawn together until they're laid low by Krispy Kreme Kismet in the guise of one chicken recipe, three Elvises, some very sexy footwear, and a chaotic attraction Cal and Min find mutually exasperating.

Jennifer Crusie's prose is vigorous, concise, and admired by fellow authors and fans alike.

Her lively dialogue is beyond witty -- it makes this love story rock from cover to cover.
