A familiar face returned to the Denver Art Museum Tuesday.
"Linda" is an extremely realistic sculpture of a sleeping woman created by Denver artist, John DeAndrea.
She's been one of the most popular and requested sculptures at the Denver Art Museum since she first went on display in 1984.
The polyvinyl of Linda's "skin" is sensitive to light, so to avoid damaging the sculpture, she can only be displayed for relatively short periods of time."Linda" will be on display inside the museum's first floor gallery until March 7. Then she will return to her slumber in the museum's pitch dark storage.Linda Keller, the woman who modeled for the piece, is now 50 years old and still teaches in Denver.
