"American Idol" Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken is going to be a dad, according to "Access Hollywood."

The entertainment show reported that the mother is Jaymes Foster, the 50-year-old sister of music producer David Foster. Jaymes Foster was reportedly artificially inseminated, "Access Hollywood" said.

Aiken's representative was not available for comment, "Access Hollywood" said.

The show said that Foster was previously married for 23 years, but has no children. The show added that Aiken and Foster live together in Los Angeles and that the baby is due in August.

Aiken, 29, told "Access Hollywood" host Billy Bush in an interview last month that Jaymes Foster is the executive producer of his new album.

In the same interview, Bush asked Aiken about the rumors over his sexuality, and how it was bothersome to him while he was competing on "Idol."

And while he won't publicly comment on the rumors just yet, Aiken said the music on his upcoming album "On My Way Here" will speak for itself, "Access Hollywood" reported.

"Some of the songs on the album are personal, some of them are not personal, some of them are very universal and I like to keep that -- allow people to interpret it that way," Aiken told Bush.
