Traveling Wilburys Albums To Be Re-Released

CDs Of Supergroup Were Unavailable For Decade

POSTED: 11:23 am MDT March 22, 2007

The Traveling Wilburys are traveling back to music racks.

The return marks the first time in a decade that the rock n' roll supergroup's music will be available in stores.

The band was created by George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan, who recorded under fictional Wilbury names for "Traveling Wilburys: Vol. 1" in 1988.

After Orbison's death, Harrison, Petty, Lynne and Dylan regrouped to record "Traveling Wilburys: Vol. 3."

The two albums will be re-released June 12 as a double-disc set. The set will come with a bonus DVD, and the deluxe version will come with original and new liner notes and a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The set will also be released on vinyl and digitally.

The Wilburys albums spawned such hits as "Handle With Care," "End of the Line" and "Inside Out."
