Calif. High School Students Protest Immigration Bill
Larger Rally Planned In LA On Saturday

LOS ANGELES -- About 150 Huntington Park High school students left their classrooms on Friday morning to protest an immigration bill due before Congress on Monday.Television images showed a half-mile-long line of students marching down a street, carrying flags and signs.The student protest came a day before a larger rally planned in Los Angeles on Saturday, in which immigrant-rights groups were scheduled to gather to protest the legislation.
The bill seeks to build more walls along the U.S.-Mexico border and make helping illegal immigrants a criminal offense.
