CU Dropping 'Denver' From Anschutz Campus Schools
New Name: University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
The University of Colorado plans to drop the word 'Denver' from the title of its schools that are now located in Aurora.The City of Aurora even put up Aurora signs around the campus, including renaming a nearby street "Aurora Court."
Beginning in March, the facility will be called the "University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus," still leaving out the name Aurora.
